Zara Dimmock One of Australia’s finest working dancers, 21-year-old Zara Dimmock has been doing what she loves since she was five years old. As a consummate professional, she has worked as a backup dancer for Jessica Mauboy, the well-known Australian singer, songwriter, and actress, and as an assistant choreographer on The Voice. She has also worked with and performed internationally for some of the greatest choreographers in Los Angeles such as Kiel Tutin, Robbie Blue, Janelle Ginestra, Zachary Venegas, and Todd Williamson; many of whom are now her friends. When she was 15, while attending a convention in Sydney, Australia, she was scouted by L.A.

Since then she has been to LA 3 times Zara is the epitome of the phrase “Small town girl makes good.” She came from a small town, north of Sydney called the Central Coast and she is the only professional dancer to make it out of her home studio which she stayed at till she was 17. She graduated from school before dancing full-time, as education along with dancing was important to her.

Advanced Diploma in Dance

Zara received a Scholarship at Brent Street Academy with an Advanced Diploma in Dance (Focusing on Performing Arts). She was also an honor roll graduate in 2020. Brent Street Academy is a High School for gifted young performing artists. BSA has produced Australia’s leading dancers, singers, and actors seen in live performances, on television, films, and much more. Zara now teaches there and at other studios in New South Wales.

There seems to be no end to her very impressive talents. She worked with KPOP legend Kiel Tutin. He thought so highly of Zara’s dancing that he flew her to South Korea and to Abu Dhabi last year to film a music video with Tia Lee. Tia is the Eastern world’s equivalent to someone like Ariana Grande, and they take their KPOP very seriously She has also done work with Kiel and Todd Williamson (who are from New Zealand) on KPOP projects.
